The Best Way to Get A Faster Desktop Computer

Let's face it, buying a new desktop computer is not cheap. After a year or two, your machine is definitely out of date, but it may also seem a tad bit slow to you. One disadvantage to having such a big technology growth curve, is that our equipment "seems" to be defunct almost as soon as we get it.

I've counseled parents of new college freshmen, about computer purchases, for many years. There is one area of computer purchasing that gives the most bang for the buck. RAM! Random Access Memory is the best place to put your money when purchasing a new computer. It is the also the best way to upgrade a computer that hasn't quite finished it's life expectancy.

Upgrading the RAM on an older computer is the best, fastest and most effective way to upgrade your older desktop computer. No need to purchase a new one every year or two. Stretch the life of your computer a couple more years using the least amount of assets and get the most bang for your buck.
